stroller

the first time bawak adlina jalan-jalan naik stroller (dulu masa kecik panggil troli!) pegi m:id valley.. nak beli barang2 adlina almaklum SALE..giler lama tak shopping.so, the first 10-15min tu mmg ok, then after that she starts to make loud noises..mcm dengar suara dia sorang je kalu masuk m:ph,JJ and kedai2 lain. hhmm..was thinking, dia nak susu kot..bagi taknak pun. tp bila tolak2 dia diam sekejap la. then bawak lagi pegi baby's department still buat bising..kind of suara protes la..tp terpaksa jugak amik cepat2 aper2 yg nak beli tu..no window shop!so abah dia tolak dia sana sini..by the time habis bayar carik ajer suara dia yg kuat tu..then taraaa..'there u are..'. 'ooo..she's screaming, jom balik?' ..'balik? aler baru je sampai..'...time tu sempat jugak bagi dia makan, to make her feel full..tp taknak sangat pun..then dukung dia keluar, rasa baju dia basah..ooo..berpeluh..panas rupanya duduk dalam stroller nih. dia pun kuat berpeluh jugak. lain kali kena bawak fan yg bleh lekat kat stroller tu..kat rumah buat perhiasan je..hehehe.

yesterday bawak adlina pergi a:lamanda..nak beli pacifier baru..terpaksa beli baru..ingatkan nak ajar dia stop using that, tp kat nurseri ckp dia susah skit nak tido la bla bla bla (mmg ye pun tp sebenarnya dah byk kali jugak adlina tido takyah punting), then diaorg pinjamkan punting budak lain...hhaaahh??!!takpe la nak lepas pun..pacifier yg lama dah mcm worn out. bawak ke kedai baby pilih la ada mcm2 corak..have to buy this particular type of passy (that's my short for pacifier..heheh) sbb kalau bentuk lain dia buat main2 dalam mulut je. and the best part she starts making noises lagi...mula2 mcm ckp2 pastu dah jadi makin kuat plak..habis la buku semua masuk mulut..then sepanjang masa la dia pasang loud speaker, ramai la tengok2 dia, alerr..buat tak tau je. lepas beli barang rasa lapar sangat plak..pegi la s:cret r:ecipe..after bumped into my officemate..borak kejap.after dia balik tunggu lama la jugak my order. lepak kat air pancut then dia senyap la...fuh lega dpt angin luar. ordered cheese cake too!yummyy! the rush to my car, dah sampai kereta then teringat oooo shooott...tak bayar parking ticket lagi..patah balik...dah berpeluh laaa..adlina pun makin kuat suara,mcm nangis..aduuhh sabar2 adlina..so aku mcm peserta olimpik masuk lumba jalan kaki ler...nak lari mcm over la plak..hopefully kalau tiap2 minggu bawak dia kluar bleh kurus la..hahahahaha...yeahh rite!

bila dah finally sampai kerete..keluarkan dia..hhhmm..berpeluh lagi..panas rupanya, sbb tu dia bising. feel like a bad mommy tak letak kipas tu. sorry yer baby..dah letak dia dlm carseat, cepat2 start enjin on kan aircond full blast!lepas tu mcm lipas kudung la masukkan barang dlm kerete..cake pun main campak je!!masuk kete fuhh aku pun lega dpt aircond sbb berpeluh!pastu baru dia senyap..lega agaknya dpt aircond. then have to rush back home sbb ada training vball malam ni. kemas2 barang2 adlina, masak air panas nak replace air dlm flusk..basuh botol2 utk readykan abah dia utk jaga dia while im gone for training. makan ala kadar jer (hhhmm tak sempat nak enjoy my cheese cake & japanese soba!) then siap sedia nak training, nasib teammate dtg amik..thanks..thats was a relieved!!so, after training kat kl..balik then she was sleeping..terer gak abah dia jaga..hehehe..next time boleh tinggal dgn abah dia lagi..kesian tgk dia..tido terlentang..exhausted kes petang tadi la tu.

ok...lain kali nak bawak kipas..kipas batteri ker..kipas tangan ker..anything also can asal dia tak panas...pastu pakai baju nipis (tp masa bawak pergi mall bukannya baju tebal pun..cuma jenis cotton tebal)..ingatkan shopping mall sejuk..but it was not for her...but i think she enjoyed herself..that's why she's making lot of noise..happy noise i guess..till then...chow!

mee kari

last weekend kawan nzm datang, so puas fikir la nak masak aper. called my mom dia kata masak la mee kari, tak remeh. so, i decided nak buat mee kari. bila pergi pasar besar (1st time tu beli grocery kat pasar basah mcm tu!) tiba2 jadi rambang mata tengok macam2 ada kat pasar..daripada nak beli skit2, terbeli byk benda (tp mmg utk makan pun)..bila nampak salad je, tiba2 fikiran jadi..'eh, masak nasik ayam pun best gak..tp kang nak buat kicap la, sambal la..errr..tak jadik la..' hehehe. nak buat benda yg simple, takyah lama2 kat dapur. bila dah balik rumah, buat cuci & bersih & siang aper2 yang patut, sambil masak..last2 ended up 3jam lebih kat dapur! fuh, penat. so, here's my resepi mee kari yang sempoi...mmg sempoi la mee kari aku haritu.

utk 4-5 org mkn. time serving : 30-1hr (depends tahap kecekapan & kepantasan)

#2 paket kecik kari daging (larutkan dalam air supaya jadi paste, tp buat cair skit)
#bunga lawang
#kayu manis
#buah pelaga 2-3 biji
#bawang besar 1 biji
#bawang putih 3-4 ulas
#halia 1-2 inci (ikut suka la)
#santan 3/4 to 1 cup (jgn byk sangat nnt hilang rasa kari)
#kentang potong dadu (ada org tak suka letak kentang)
#ayam/daging potong dadu. tapi kalau ada kerang pun best gak (my fav!!). fish ball also can.
#sayur sawi
#bawang goreng (ni mesti ada!)
#garam secukup rasa
#2paket mee

note: better not to put so many things dalam kari, tak rasa manis daging/seafood. serabut pun ye!hehehe

then whats next?

tumbuk bawang2 sampai lumat atau blend je bawang2 tu. panaskan minyak (minyak jgn byk sangat, nanti penuh minyak je kuahnyer..tak best. kalu terlajak tu, kaup je balik minyak masuk dlm botol..hehe)
pastu tumis bawang2+halia..kalau nak campur skali rempah2 pun ok gak.

bila nak wangi,

masukkan paste kari tu dan tumis sampai org kata naik minyak?mcm tu la. tumis la dalam 5 minit ker, lebih 5min pun ok. kena jaga la jangan hangus, so api dapur jgn besar sgt.kalu mcm kering tambah air skit. then tambah la air lagi, letak skit2 dulu, takut terlajak taruk nnt cair la kari.

masukkan kentang dulu, bila dah empuk skit masukkan la rencah2 lain ayam/daging or what eva u wanna put tu. then masukkan santan dan garam secukup rasa. kacau2 skit jgn bagi santan pecah. api kecik tau..then biar la masak sampai kentang empuk. (macam mana nak tau empuk? cucuk je dgn grafu,kalu senang cucuk maknenya dah empuk la). kentang dah empuk, tutup la api gas.

mee tu what i did was..letak dalam tangguk yg air that can pass tru,bawah tangguk tu tadah dengan besen yg besar dari tangguk, then masak air panas, carefully tuang air panas kat mee tu..rendam 3-4 second sambil goyang2 kan skit tangguk tu, then toss kan la mee tu.

sawi tu potong kecik & celur sampai layu skit (jgn layu sangat! habis zatnya)

taraaaaa.. dah jadik la mee kari

then serve la kat pinggan&mangkuk korang yg fancy2 terperap kat almari tu..hehehe..

kalau nak lagi grand lagi vogue, ni benda2 yg u all boleh sedia sebagai rencah tambahan..

Back pain? Most people reach for an aspirin or an Aleve, get a cortisone shot or a massage, take to bed or take a day off. Many turn to narcotic prescriptions.

But orthopedic surgeon and back expert Mark Brown says not to do any of the above. Instead: Get a sound diagnosis and then take a walk.

"Back pain is the most common reason for doctor visits today, and it is the most expensive disorder," he says. "Even though the cost of treating back pain has increased 65 percent, the results have decreased."

Dr. Brown is professor and chairman emeritus of the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine. After 35 years of practice, he has written Conquer Back and Neck Pain: Walk It Off (Sunrise River, $11.95), advice he takes himself. He walks four miles several mornings a week.

Dr. Brown clearly explains the structure of the spine, with its 33 vertebrae and cushioning discs. The center of the disc soaks up water like a sponge. As it ages, or because it is genetically programmed to do so, the center deteriorates, deflates and loses its ability to cushion. It can do several things then, but most cause pain, often extending into arms and legs. Sometimes, the flattened disc squashes into the outer rim, narrowing the spinal channel and nerves. This is called spinal stenosis, a common cause of neck and back pain, as well as leg and arm pain.

When things get really bad, the vertebra will form bone spurs in an attempt to defend itself against sprains and more damage, and eventually cause even greater pain.

Dr. Brown's solution is to have patients figure out what kind of back pain they have (there are seven types, he says) to determine treatment and prevention. He includes a questionnaire that will help readers determine the type and a short guide to determine when to walk it off and when to call for help.

Basically, most back pain will go away, he believes. Pills, surgery, manipulation and other remedies can make the pain worse.

"The theme is to get a diagnosis by a qualified doctor ... then go to a specialist. If they prescribe something, make sure you know the up and downsides and the alternatives," he says.

From Dr. Brown's perspective, the best things you can do when you know what is causing back pain are to give up smoking, lose weight and walk, or participate in some kind of aerobic exercise, such as walking on a treadmill or swimming.

"Narcotics are horrible for people with back, bone and joint pain," he says. "They don't relieve the pain, and they actually worsen the quality of life and make them more sensitive to pain."

Hari ni adlina dah 6months old!wow..kejap nya masa berlalu..dia tengah menyiarap dan rasanya dia tengah nak belajar moving foward..aku noticed kalau dia nak capai barang dia akan try stretch tangan dia panjang2 (nasib takleh stretch mcm plasticman!hehe) kalau tak sampai baru dia gerak2 badan untuk sampai kan jugak tangan dia pada objek. dia quite relax berbanding kawan sebaya, sbb ada yang ada effort untuk tonggeng and ada yg dah duduk!huhuh..orang kata setiap budak lain perkembangannya...different milestones!! tapi bila tengok dia terlentang jer best gak sebab senang skit nak buat keje..kalau dah merangkak nanti, tak boleh nak bayangkan macam mana nak buat keje nanti..baby cot kat bilik atas, rasa payah pulak nak monitor.

last sunday bagi adlina makan rice cereal as her first solid food! surprisingly dia habis portion half tablespoon! masa first time nak bagi makan tu rasa berdebar aje (lerr itu pun nak berdebar) tp seriously berdebar! and excited too! tanya my mother ..'mi, nak bancuh mcmana?cair macam ni ker?' ... my mother ajar ler buat cair2 for first feeding. so, bagi la dia makan atas katil. siap sapu tangan alas atas dada,langkah2 berjaga jaga kalau dia refuse. jangkaan ku meleset sebab dia makan habis! ada jugak la sembur-sembur, standard la tu..happynya adlina habis makan!! sekarang ni excited nak vary her meal..kalau kawan-kawan nak suggest aper2 recipe or menu bagitau la...just post it in my blog..ur welcomed! sebab i pun actually macam blur2 jugak... ta taaaaa
